Description
Add a sentence to the 'About this site' block saying "The classification was adapted from XXX [as link]". With XXX being EoL, ITIS or where ever the classification was imported from. Obviously the sentence only appears if a classification was imported this way and not via text file. We also need to credit the original data provider, not just Catalog of Life, but for example the BDWD, which provided the Diptera classification. So the import script needs to be adapted in a way that we get information on who the original data provider(s) was/were.

This isn't critical. I'd say it is minor, but am willing to put it in as normal.

I had it as critical because it is something that should have been done at the time we enabled the EOL import. Giving credit is really important especially for the original data provider who needs it to get funding.

I have now written a blog post on the citing issues and linked to it from the EOL import help. What is still needed is on the EOL import page to extend the sentence "Import a classification directly from EOL" to: "Import a classification directly from EOL and cite the data provider" with a link to http://scratchpads.eu/eol-import-data-providers-should-be-credited.
